Erik Schneider
Armed with a master's degree in taxation, I have been practicing
in Atlanta for nearly two decades. After gaining valuable knowledge
working at an international firm and then a large local firm,
I started my own practice in 1995 committing myself to proving
clients with a different and more rewarding experience. I have
recently specialized my practice and now focus primarily on medical
practices, real estate and individual tax planning and preparation.

What makes me different
While working at a local firm, I observed that the people with
the most expertise were not the ones doing the work. I found that
this made it difficult for the senior employees to give the best
advice to the client because they were not sufficiently knowledgeable
with the specific nuances of the client and their business. I
purposely decided to keep my practice smaller so that I could
do what I truly enjoy: getting to intimately know a client's situation
and the issues specific to their business so that I could apply
my extensive expertise and experience most effectively. To this
day, I've kept that commitment. My clients appreciate the tight
relationship which allows them to feel like I'm truly a member
of the team and not just an outside advisor. I've also kept my
rates reasonable given my level of experience so that clients
can use me frequently and fully and not have to worry about getting
hit with the dreaded "mega-bill".
Further, I committed myself to proving my clients with the information
they want in a format that they can understand. To that end, I
have developed highly graphic financial reports that allow a reader
to understand his or her business more fully than through standard
financial reports. See sample reports
for an example.
